In this watercolour painting on pure cotton paper, pale pink rhododendron flowers contrast with their smooth, leathery leaves and a richly textured background with a multitude of trailing twigs and branches. Painting size 33 × 26 cm, framed in a limed wooden frame measuring 52 × 43 × 4 cm.
