'Candlemas Bells' snowdrops painting
'Candlemas Bells' snowdrops painting
Blooming in early February, snowdrops are associated with Candlemas and often seen as symbols of purity, and the beginning of Spring.
Watercolour and acrylic inks on deckle torn cotton paper, finished with 18ct green gold leaf. Float mounted in a deep box frame in limed wood, measuring 26 × 26 × 4 cm, ready to hang or to display on a shelf.
Please note that shipping to the UK and USA are temporarily suspended, unless by contacting Sue prior to purchase.
While every effort is made to represent the colours of the original painting as accurately as possible, variations may occur according to the screen on which the image is viewed.
The finest quality artist watercolours, pure cotton paper and genuine gold leaf are used, and the colours should not fade. It is recommended, however, not to hang watercolour paintings in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
