'Flamenco' Pansy painting

With her flouncing skirts, this gorgeous plum coloured pansy demanded some flourishes of gold too; watercolour on cotton paper, with 18 ct green gold leaf applied. Float mounted to show the edges of the deckle torn paper, the painting is framed in a deep box frame in limed wood, with outside measurements of 28 × 28 × 4 cm.
