'Gossamer' dragonfly painting

€220.00

Resting momentarily on a branch, this delicate dragonfly airs its shimmering, filmy wings. Painted in watercolour, with soft patterns in the background echoing the cells on the dragonfly’s wings, a touch of sparkling drama is added with the application of genuine gold leaf. Float mounted to show off the deckle torn edge of the cotton paper, and framed in a deep wooden frame (26 × 26 × 4.5 cm outside dimensions), the painting can be either hung on a wall or displayed on a shelf.

While every effort is made to represent the colours of the original painting as accurately as possible, variations may occur according to the screen on which the image is viewed.

The finest quality artist watercolours, pure cotton paper and genuine gold leaf are used, and the colours should not fade. It is recommended, however, not to hang watercolour paintings in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
