Emerging from the rusty leaves of the wintry forest floor, the pale primroses emerge shimmering in Spring. Watercolour and inks on deckle torn cotton paper (17 × 17 cm), embellished with a tracery of 22ct gold leaf. Framed in a deep, limed wooden frame ready to hang or display on a shelf. Outside framed dimensions 28 × 28 × 4 cm.
